Von, Knits & Hunting

It has been over two months since i have been living in Milan, pursuing my masters in product design, it is unlike any city i have been to. I don’t love it completely but there is nothing to hate. It would be great if people picked up after their dogs. I like that i can speak with my hands to Italians without looking like i am about to punch them, they speak with their hands too. I am happy in this photo. I am happy today, for no specific reason.

I stopped wearing Clear lens glasses but the ASOS team did a great job again. Featuring a square-cut frame with an abstract print design, clear lenses, moulded nose pads for a securer fit, slim temples and curved temple tips.

The Hunting jacket, constructed in a pure cotton canvas with corduroy detailing. Featuring a contrast curved collar, button placket to the front, single patch pocket with a zip closure to the chest, two large flap pockets to the lower body, long sleeve styling, corduroy cuffs, contrast elbow patches and twin flap pockets with press stud fastenings to the reverse. My wrists have on a rope bracelet by ASOS, featuring a knotted rope design with a tarnished metal key clasp fastening.

The Backpack i have on is by Reclaimed Vintage. Constructed in vintage military surplus canvas with leather trims. Featuring flap covered drawstring closure, pin buckle fastenings, silver-tone metal hardware, with twin patch pockets to front, and adjustable shoulder straps.

Finally i have on a Beanie hat, featuring a cable knit design to the main and a turn up trim with ribbed detailing. I took a break from sketching to take these photos for Von, whose girlfriend had requested a summer look and told me i inspired her boyfriend. In German, von [fɔn] is a preposition which approximately means of or from. I want to design shoes for a living and i am working at it hard with my portfolio. Honestly i like the person i am becoming.

On a final note, I am a nice guy at heart despite some of my opinions. Start a conversation with me and we might learn from each other. Check out my portfolio and let me know what you think, its in the link at the top of the blog also. The attention to details is the main focus, so bring a pen, take notes and leave a comment.

Stay Inspired
